When you upgrade to a paid plan, we need to collect your physical address, and in case it’s applicable, the name of your company and its VAT number. The information you can provide voluntarily is your first name, last name, username, alternative email, phone number and alternative phone number.

Your Glimpses. With our services, you can share documents, images and other files with other OneGlimpse users. From now on, we will refer to these files as your “Glimpses”. To make sharing of your Glimpses possible, we store, process and transmit your Glimpses as well as information related to it. This related information includes your email address and username. Thanks to the secure encryption and protection methods we use when storing, processing and transmitting your Glimpses, only the intended recipients can see the content of your Glimpses. We at OneGlimpse will never be able to do so.

Usage information. We collect information relating to how you use our Services, including actions you take in your account, for example sharing and editing Glimpses. We use this information to improve our Services and protect OneGlimpse users. To improve our Services, we collect information about how our users interact with our Services to understand what features are most useful and improve them. To protect OneGlimpse users, we analyse for example our user’s IP addresses, login history, and email/password changes to detect and respond to abusive behaviour.

Device information. We also collect data about the devices you use to access our Services. This includes your IP addresses, browser type, the type of device you use, the web page you visited before coming to our website. Your devices may also transmit information about your location to our Services, depending on the settings of your device. We use this information to detect abusive behaviour and to identify and troubleshoot bugs.

Marketing. If you sign up for our Services, we give you the option to give your consent for marketing emails and other materials. Only when you give consent, we will send you such marketing materials. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of every email. However, we will still send you essential app notifications, for example when you want to reset your password.

“You received a Glimpse” notification. We sometimes need to contact people who don’t have a OneGlimpse account. This only happens when one of our users wants to share a Glimpse with someone without a OneGlimpse account. The sender will provide the email address of the recipient, and therefore, the sender will be the source of the notification. We will not store this email address in any way or collect other data from the recipient, only after the recipient decides to create an account. If you received such notification and you don’t want to create an account, please get in touch with the sender. In case you don’t ever want to receive this kind of notifications anymore, please send an email to help@oneglimpse.com.

When you have an account, you can change your notification settings in the app.

  • Mailjet SAS. We use their services for our system emails (app notifications) and marketing emails. We share with them your email address.

  • eCurring BV. This is our payment provider. We share your billing info (account information) with them. However, they are responsible for the processing of your payment information, for example, your bank account number. Other OneGlimpse users. Our Services display information such as your email address and username to other users when you share a Glimpse with them.

Law & order and the public interest. We may disclose your information to third parties if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or appropriate government request;

  • protect any person from death or serious bodily harm;

  • prevent fraud or abuse of OneGlimpse or our users;

Where

Europe. To provide you with our Services, we will store, process and transmit data in West Europe according to the location of our servers and databases.

On your local device. Data may also be stored locally on the devices you use to access our Services.

We will store your personal information for as long as you use our Services. When you choose to delete your account, we will initiate the deletion of your personal information from our Services after 30 days.
